(QUEST) QUEST is a new decision-making model that can effectively solve multi-satellite observation tasking problems for image acquisiti on during intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions by maximizing the value of the information collected. The innovation lies in the development of a new original quadratic mathematical programming decision model, reducing the complexity of the problem by approximating the objective to be maximized, reducing by several orders of magnitude the number of decision variables normally required, by exploiting the characteristics of the resource capacity constraints of the problem to obtain a solution quickly,
DYNAQUEST is the dynamic version of QUEST. It is a model of decision adapted to the problems of dynamic scheduling a constellation of several satellites; it dynamically manages uncertain events that may appear suddenly during the execution of the satellites; it dynamically manages abrupt changes in satellite resources (memory and energy) during satellite execution; it manages and effectively integrates the unexpected arrival of new tasks during the of the plans submitted to the satellites; it has the ability to handle the complexity of abrupt changes and is therefore able to generate in a short time an optimal plan even for a very large number of tasks.

MOSAIC is a decision support model that enhances the functionalities of DYNAQUEST. It is a decision model for scheduling problems of a constellation of large Earth area observation that reduces considerably duplicates and consequently, reduce the waste of satellite resources. MOSAIC eliminates also the loss of resources during search and rescue missions.

Nassirou Lo has played a central role in our team since its inception. In 1998, he obtained a doctorate in mathematics from the University of Lille in France. His research has gradually turned towards optimization and operational research with numerous publications thanks to his commitment. At SATWII Solutions, he heads the R&D department.
